soooooo many injuries

Is it just me or are there soooo many more injuries in fm2009 than 2008? Why!?!!? What am I doing wrong? I'm certainly not overtraining my players. One particular game, I had 5 injured players that had to come off the pitch - meaning I ended the game with only 9 men!
